Basis: published estimates from flight emissions calculators (e.g. myclimate, ICAO methodology) commonly cite a range of about 90–250 g CO2e per passenger-km depending on flight length, aircraft, and load factor. There is no single universally agreed exact figure — non-CO2 climate effects of aviation (contrails, altitude effects) are also debated and not included here.
